On December 5, 2018 in Sofia Hotel Balkan, the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association presented its 23rd Annual Awards for Professional Achievements in Hospitality, Catering and Management. Since 1996, BHRA gives the most prestigious and long-standing awards in tourism, which are part of the most successful entrepreneurship
For the third year the awards were held in partnership with the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB). NAMRB nominated municipalities for BHRA awards in the following categories: "For best market positioning in 2018", "Most Sustainable Destination Development in 2018" , "For the Most Investment in Tourist Infrastructure in 2018" and "For the Most Beneficial Cooperation in Tourism in 2018"
Among the guests at the official ceremony were ministers and MPs, representatives of municipalities, BHRA partners from tourism organizations, leading managers and owners of tourism, members of the association from all over the country. Representatives of the national media are invited to participate in the event.
